Terms of Use

Last updated: October 2026

These terms apply when you access or use the client information, download links, and setup guides on v2ray-dev.com. Read them before downloading software or following a guide to change your device settings. The license and terms for any specific software are those provided with that software.

1. Content and Scope

This site brings together information about v2rayN, v2rayNG, v2flyNG, and related open-source projects. Its content is for educational and informational purposes and does not constitute legal, security, or environment-specific professional advice. Setup steps explain client settings and do not endorse any particular use.

This site provides information and download guidance, but does not provide proxy nodes, subscription services, or guaranteed network access. It is not the official operator of the related open-source projects. Client names are used only to identify products and do not imply authorized representation or affiliation.

2. Lawful Use and User Responsibilities

You must comply with the laws and regulations that apply where you are and to your activities, as well as the rules of your organization, network provider, and any services you access. Do not use related software for unlawful activities, including unauthorized access, data theft or disclosure, distributing illegal content, infringing others' rights, or disrupting normal network operations.

You are responsible for determining whether you are legally authorized to access your target resources and handle related data. Information on this site does not grant access rights or replace any required authorization. If you cannot confirm that an action is lawful or authorized, stop and seek appropriate professional advice.

Subscription URLs, account details, and configuration data may contain sensitive information; keep them secure and do not share them publicly. Before changing system proxy, routing, or DNS settings, understand the effects and keep a way to restore the original settings. Get approval before making changes on managed devices.

3. Software Sources and Liability

The relevant open-source projects provide and maintain their software; this site compiles usage information and download links. Each project determines its software's features, compatibility, update schedule, and license terms. Guides may differ from what you see because of version, system, or interface changes. Check the client documentation when using them.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, this site makes no guarantees about the ongoing accuracy of its content, the continued availability of software or download links, or fitness for a particular purpose. Network failures, upstream changes, or maintenance may interrupt access, and no fixed repair timeframe is promised.

Back up important data before taking action. To the extent permitted by law, this site is not liable for connection interruptions, data loss, or other losses resulting from third-party software, imported configurations, or network setting changes. These terms do not exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, or restrict any rights you have under applicable law.

4. Intellectual Property and Open-Source Licenses

The names, logos, code, and related materials of Project V, V2Fly, Xray, and each client belong to their respective rights holders. Open-source licensing does not waive copyright. When copying, modifying, or distributing software, follow the applicable license for that version, including any requirements for attribution, preserving notices, or providing source code.

Original explanations and editorial arrangements on this site are protected by applicable law. When quoting them, credit the source, do not distort their meaning, and do not imply official endorsement by a project. Third-party material remains subject to its original license. These terms grant no rights to third-party trademarks or code.

5. Changes to These Terms and Feedback

These terms may be revised to reflect content or service changes or legal requirements. Revisions and the latest update month will be posted on this page. Unless required otherwise by law, revisions apply from the date they are posted. Review this page before using the site again.

For setup steps and common questions, see the user guide or troubleshooting guide. When reporting a technical issue, include your system, client name, steps taken, and error message; remove subscription URLs and account credentials. If any provision of these terms is found invalid, the remaining valid provisions will remain in effect.
